Biography

Lukas Schiemer, born 1982 in Bregenz, is currently living as independent artist, composer, songwriter, pedagogue, gehdanke, gardener, poet and musician in Vienna, Austria.

2007 he finished his studies for a bachelor of arts, specializing in the jazz saxophone, at the private university "Konservatorium Wien". Since finishing his second bachelor studies of Instrumental and Singing Pedagogics with Wolfgang Puschnig in March 2012, he is studying at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna for a master degree with Klaus Dickbauer.

Besides his artistic work, he is interested in pedagogic concepts, which use free collective jamming to initialize corporate composing processes. He‘s looking back on and forward to projects and workshops of this kind with him as supervisor.
